Crochet Ghosties
You will need:
3.5mm crochet hook
DK weight yarn
Darning needle
Stuffing
Optional – for the eyes
White yarn
Black yarn
2.5mm crochet hook
(I used Hobbii 8/6 cotton)
Ghostie
- 6sc in MC
- Inc every stitch (12)
- Sc, inc – repeat over the row (18)
- 2sc, inc – repeat over the row (24)

- In the front loop only for this row: Mark the back loop of the first stitch with a stitch marker. Skip the first stitch. In the second stitch, complete 5 hdc in the front loop. Skip a stitch, ss in the next stitch. Repeat these actions over each of the remaining stitches ending on a ss.
- In the back loops of the previous row – 2sc, dec – repeat over the row. (18)
Sc, dec – repeat over row (12) - Stuff the ghostie. Dec over the whole row (6) – cut off yarn and weave in the end to close the hole.
Eyes
This is all in the one row around a magic circle. Using black, make a magic circle. 3sc into the circle – leaving the last pull through of the 3rd stitch to be the colour change to white. 3sc in white. Pull the magic circle ring to close – ss in the first stitch. Pull on all the yarn ends to tighten the eye.
Stitch the eyes on the front of your ghostie.
