I made this a while ago for Thor. It’s just taken me this long to write down the pattern. I should just learn to write it down as I go. It’s a much better solution to the problem.

I always knot toques etc. Either on 4 needles or circular needles if enough stiches. I hope the colours will work outS opposed to back & forth. Thanx for the pattern, fran
Is there a line missing??? Where you have to knit in ‘POLICE BOX’ row 3 and 4 are all purl??? Am I reading it correctly?? Is there a row missing there???
There is bond to be a mistake – the pattern is many years old now sorry, and hasn’t been re-worked (probably in need of it though). I don’t think a line is missing, I think it is a typo… it should be one purl and one knit row…. I hope this helps.
Ok I will try just changing it to that. Hopefully it works. Thanks 😀
Im confused on 3 and 4 rows with the police box its two purls? Can you elaborate?
I think the “Police Box” bit is the most confusing of all the pattern. I’ll have a look and try to see what you mean… and I need to update this section with a new chart as well. (I’ll try to do that this afternoon)
