Well, there is so much going on at the moment. It’s exciting, and nerve wracking, and, well, busy! I am beginning to realise that I don’t do dull and boring….
Nutshell time!
There are some very exciting knitting happenings at the moment. I am re-working a particular design for publication in a magazine… more to come…. but a favourite from here is being updated, and I will even be converting the pattern to one in the round. Nice.
As well as working on a project for the squad… which will end up as a download of knitting patterns suitable for young trend setters.
And then what I am calling my flight booties. Basically I tend to knit a pair of slippers to take on flights so I don’t have to wear shoes on long plane rides…. and then they live in my handbag, and out they pop whenever my shoes come off. I am turning my very basic pattern into a selection of sizes and variations for all sorts of purposes. There are a lot of hospitalisations in the near future for me and the family, for so so so many reasons… and I hate having cold feet. Everyone will be getting a pair to wear in hospital. The biggest challenge is my Dad’s massive, giant, flipper-feet. I think he wears size 13 shoes! Mental.
Then the plan is to blog more, and include more food stuff….. and more craft stuff…. more stuff mainly. I need to get myself sorted. Especially as November is Nanowrimo, and again, I will be writing a novel in 30 days.
This month is the Kokomai Creative Festival, and I will be performing as the Queen of Hearts in “Alice in Wonderland” – which is such a blast…. as well as hopefully writing a review for one of the plays…. and helping out as a volunteer ushing people into seats…. and meeting authors.
Somewhere in the middle will be teaching…………
