Converse Style Sneaker Slippers – Knitting Pattern

Well, it has been a long road, but the pattern is finally here!

Everyone knows how much I love Converse sneakers.  I wear them everywhere.  And now I can wear them in the house.  Maybe the dogs also need them….

You can find the pattern here in my Etsy store. I promise you this is the easiest version of any Converse style pattern out there.  So simple.  A lot of brainpower went in to making these achievable for all abilities of knitting.  If you can knit, purl, and slip stitches, you are golden for this pattern.

Currently there is just the low top style.  I am thinking of a high top version, but its still in the mental planning stages.

In the pipeline there are a few things…. a set of Tardis slippers (and pattern) will arrive shortly on here… as well as there are designs in the works for all 13 Doctors from “Doctor Who” in knitted slipper form (obsessed with slippers at the moment)…. and this includes the War Doctor.

    Hi! I recently purchased you sneaker slippers pattern. The stitch count cast on for the Aran style is not correct on the pattern. Is there correction for the pattern? I’ll wait to hear from you… Thank you! Fabian

    Hello, I just purchased this pattern and may have a question that seems silly. Am I supposed to carry the yarn that I’m not using while I knit the separate sections? There isn’t a picture of the inside of the slipper so I can’t tell, and otherwise the sections just seem to knit separately. Thanks!

    Hi, and thank you for a really nice pattern. Recently purchased over on ETSy, and very much looking forward to making, these Converse Style lace up sneaker slippers. I’m hoping you can help with the sizing part of this pattern. Would you let me know the approximate shoe size range that correlates with Each–small-medium-large-extra large adult sizes? I wanted to make, to start, a adult US women’s size 9 1/2 and adult US women’s size 8—-so the 9 1/2 would that be a large or ex. large? and the 8 a medium or large? Next up will be an adult women’s US size 7-might that be a small or medium?.
    Any help/suggestions you can give is very appreciated. By the way, will be using 5mm needles/aran weight yarn. Thanks again for your time.

      Hiya – yes…. I’ll see what I can do. The numbered sizes are based around a NZ-Australia sizing. Basically I know that a women’s 10 is a men’s 8 roughly a European 41…. if that helps for scale. I would say that the medium would work for the women’s 8, and the large for the 91/2… however… if you are a looser knitter, medium would work for both. Does this help?
