Cut yarn with 30 cm remaining. Thread yarn through the remaining stitches, pull tight. Use this tail to stitch up the side of the hat. Darn in your tails. Make a white pom-pom and stitch it to the top.

Love the hat! I am making this for a 4 month old. Any suggestions concerning the amount of stitches?
Thank you.
I want to make this hat for my 1year old grandson how many stitches do I need for this size hat or is it for an adult?
This hat size should be fine for him. It’s a child size more than an adult size.

I wish to make this for a 2 year old. Would it fit?A cast of 60stitches seems too small to me. Thanks in advance. Sarah
This hat fits a baby head, at a loose gauge. I would go up to 80 or 90 stitches for a 2yr old.
