As a wee bonus to all of you participating in the Washcloth of the Month this year, here is a bonus. This soap scrubbie is a great idea for washing, laundry, travel and gifting with a handmade soap. I love them, and they knit up very quickly. Awesome if you are knitting for a market stall or craft fair as you can make them quickly and they are easy to package as gifts.

You will need:
- 4mm needles
- DK cotton yarn
- Darning needle
Cast on 20 stitches.
This is a repeating 2 row pattern.
Row 1: Knit
Row 2: Purl 2 together without removing stitches from the needles. Purl the first stitch again, remove from the needle. Repeat over the whole row.
Repeat these 2 rows over the 48 rows. Cast off.
Fold your work into 3 as shown. Stitch up the sides. Your soap can now be maneuvered into the scrubbie in the gap at the back. This can now be washed easily, and have the soap removed with a breeze.
I love it!
Mona.
