Ages ago I bought a copy of the Vogue Ultimate Knitting Guide… it is indeed the magnum opus of knitting information. However, it is expensive, and heavy.
The Vogue Knitting Quick Reference Guide was then released, which addresses some of these issues. Here is my review of the book.
