Incase this is confusing….. I called the introduction and supplies part 1…. This is the 6th part we will be knitting. There are 12 parts that involve making in this project, and 25 pieces overall. You may spread these out as you will. This is the Pathway Block.

For this block, you will need the tan/beige yarn and the grey yarn, and 4mm knitting needles

Cast on 40 stitches

40. Keeping all the stitches the same colours as in row 39 – Slip 1, knit 3, purl to last 4, knit 4

We are now going to have 2 sections of tan and one section of grey. Maintain this colour pattern over the remaining 20 rows where the stitches are 13 tan, 14 grey, 13 tan.

41. Slip 1, knit 13 in tan, (p2, k2) repeat brackets over grey section ending on a p2, in tan section knit to end
42. Slip 1, knit 3, purl in tan to the grey section, (k2, p2) repeat brackets over grey section ending on a k2, in tan section purl to last 4, knit 4
43. Slip 1, knit 13 in tan, (k2, p2) repeat brackets over grey section ending on a k2, in tan section knit to end
44. Slip 1, knit 3, purl in tan to the grey section, (p2, k2) repeat brackets over grey section ending on a p2, in tan section purl to last 4, knit 4

Rows 45-57: Repeat rows 5-8

57. Slip 1, knit to end
58. Slip 1, knit to end
59. Slip 1, knit to end
60. Cast off in knit stitch
