Teeny tiny whale – knitting pattern

Happy new year! Today I went to see “Aquaman”. It was enjoyable. It had the possibility of being brilliant…. if it had a better script. But, it was fun and Momoa is brilliant… and the fish were awesome.

I’d like to pretend that this whale was inspired by this. But it wasn’t. Recently I started a theatre company, Hakura Puhoi Whakaari, the Grey Whale Theatre Company. So it was time to create a tiny whale as a planner pin. And he is cute.

You can make this using either DK yarn with 4mm needles, or as I did in the images, 4ply yarn with 2.5mm needles.

You will need:

  • Yarn and needles as described – you need very little
  • Darning needle
  • Small amount of yarn

Cast on 8 stitches.
