Welcome to the third of this series of wash or dishcloth patterns. By now you have made an Andalusian washcloth, and a Beehive Stitch cloth. These are great ways of practising new techniques, or knitting quick projects. I also like to include them with a handmade soap as a quick gift idea. They are awesome sellers in craft markets and fairs. Cleaning cloths also make terrific gag gifts.

For this one you need:
- 4mm knitting needles
- DK Cotton yarn
- Darning needle
- (Optional crochet hook)
Cast on 41 stitches
This is a 4 row repeating pattern.
Row 1: Knit
Row 2: Knit 1, *purl 2 together without removing stitches from the needle, knit the same 2 together and slide them off the needle. Repeat from * to the end of the row.
Row 3: Knit
Row 4: Purl 2 together without removing stitches from the needle, knit the same 2 together and slide them off the needle. Repeat until the last stitch, knit 1.

Repeat these 4 rows 12 times (48 rows total)
Cast off. You can now either darn in your tails, or take one of the tails, and chain 15 stitches with a crochet hook. Fold this over into a loop and stitch it to the corner to create a hanging loop.
