Hobbii Yarn Haul

I admit that I don’t need more yarn…. but… in my defence, I find it so much easier to use the ergonomic knitting needles than regular ones… and finding them here in New Zealand is a challenge.

I also started crocheting…. of which I will eventually create a video explaining my journey in crochet…. but this will wait. However, finding the plush yarn has also been a challenge in my rural environment. I do love NZ yarn, and I have great dreams of carding the wool of the sheep on this property to spin into jumpers. But this is a dream for the future. For now I usually knit with New Zealand yarn from Skeinz or The Woven, amongst others.

Anyway, my recent Hobbii yarn haul was made up of Honey Bunny yarn and ergonomic hooks. This yarn is truly soft and luxurious. I still have to master using it, but it feels so much softer and well documented than the plush yarn I picked up from Temu as a comparison.

I don’t order from Hobbii too frequently – but when I do, I go there for their speciality products that tick a box for me. They have a really nice light reflective yarn which glows when under lights – perfect for twilight walks and remaining safely seen. They have some very cool glow in the dark yarn that I am very keen to find a use for. And their plush yarn is lovely. I’m also a fan of how the “friends” line colour co-ordinates with each other.

As I sit here surrounded by elements to complete for my day job, I leave you with this yarn haul. Happy knitting.
