Alright, so I’m writing a play about road cones…. And I’m going to obsess for a while. So while no one is asking, here is a crochet pattern for a road cone….

You will need:

• Orange and white yarn
• Crochet hook sized smaller than the yarn requests
• Scissors and a darning needle.

1. With orange yarn 6sc in a magic ring
2. Sc (6)
3. Change to white. 1sc, inc (9)
4. Sc
5. Change to orange – 2sc, inc (12)
6. Sc
7. Change to white – 3sc, inc (15)
8. Sc
9. Change to orange – 4sc, inc (18)
10. Sc
11. 5sc, inc (21)
12. Sc
13. 6sc, inc (24)
14. Sc
15. Base plate – sc, hdc, dc, (3tc in one stitch), dc, hdc – repeat 3 more times to get 4 corners. (32)
16. 4sc, (3sc in one stitch), 7sc, (3sc in one stitch), 7sc, (3sc in one stitch), 7sc, (3sc in one stitch, 3sc
17. Ss into next stitch. Cut yarn. Pull through to close.

Darn in your ends.
