Hello again… so many things are on the horizon.

Also, my obsession with “Star Wars” has gone further.  I have a range of Porg designs lurking around, which will be released soon.  Some will be free, and one will be a paid design.  (I am still working on getting my $10,000 to perform at London’s Globe Theatre in July, and every pattern sale helps with that.  You may also notice links to Amazon products – if you purchase from Amazon I receive a small commission, but you don’t pay any extra. I try to keep these minimal and at the end of posts).  But I do believe in free patterns also, and those won’t be going away anytime soon.

You will also receive on the blog new designs for Valentines Day, and a few pattern updates.  The Yoga sock pattern from years ago has been very popular again, so it has been updated to include a cool lobster claw cable.  And the Messy-bun hat has been also proving popular, so a cabled version is on the way shortly.

I am also on the lookout for new pattern testers.  These are sent free copies on my new paid patterns so that they can test the instructions and see how they go.  All I require of the testers is to complete the pattern in a certain time frame (nothing too short), and to post your project on Ravelry linked to the pattern.  This is suitable for people of all levels of knit-skill and experience.  Before sending the patterns, I will email a picture of the design and ask who is interested.  If you are interested in joining the pattern test group, please email me at juana@theknitguru.com and tell me that you wish to be added to the pattern test list.  (The first pattern going out for test this year will be a Porg…)
